Funding Resources at UChicago

Office of Graduate Affairs
Maintains a Fellowship Kiosk of funding databases, has videotaped faculty presentations on fellowship writing strategies, has handouts on fellowships for the funding search and proposal writing, runs workshops on grantsmanship, and produces the Graduate Student News.

Deans of Students and Departmental Administrators
Flyers on various grants and fellowships are routinely sent to and are on display at the relevant Deans of Students Offices and the Departmental Administrators' Offices. Their staff members are knowledgable about external and internal fellowships that apply to their divisions/departments.

Office of International Affairs
Provides information on programs for international study and research for graduate students and graduating seniors.

Office of Minority Student Affairs
Provides inforamtion on minority fellowships and programs for undergraduates and graduate students.

Publications
Keep an eye out for announcements of fellowship opportunities in University publications, such as Peterson's Grants for Graduate and Postdoctoral Study, Directory of Grants Indexes, Annual Register of Grant Support, The Foundation Directory, The Foundation 1000, Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance, The Federal Register, and the Chronicle of Higher Education.
